There are so many distance learning resources out there right now during COVID-19 that are available FREE to parents and teachers, but it can be hard to know what are quality resources. Distance learning can be done with these resources (for free). Never fear, Mrs. E has teacher tested and selected some of her favorites that she loved in her 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms.

Reading: Audible Stories
Audible is streaming free audio books for students. They have books for Pre K all the way to teen. Audio books are a great way to make unaccessible (due to reading ability) text available to more students. Mrs. E’s favorites are Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by JK Rowling (read by Stephen Fry), Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery (read by Rachel McAdams), Riley Mack by Chris Grabenstein (read by a full cast), The Terrible Two by Mac Barnett and John Jory (read by Adam Verner).
